How to Properly Apply Your Facial Moisturizer
Your face has many nooks and crannies so here is are the simple steps to make sure you are getting the most out of your moisturizer and ensure you are covering every square inch of your face!
Step 1: Use a quarter-sized amount.
This is a decent amount that should cover all areas of your face.
Step 2: Go up and out across your forehead.
To apply moisturizer to the top half of your face, starting at your nose, move your fingers in an upward and outward motion. Move up your nose and then left across your forehead. Repeat this step over again but this time go right. Do this until all areas have been touched.
Step 3: Go down and out across your cheeks.
Same method mentioned in step 2 goes for step 3, except now you are going in a downward motion. Starting at the sides of your nose, move down and out, covering your left cheek first, then your right. Do this step until all areas of your cheeks and chin have been covered.
Step 4: Swirl, swirl, swirl.
You want to make sure the cream gets into your fine lines so using very light and delicate swirling motions, use your fingertips to swirl the cream into your problem areas. Take extra time to be soft and gentle because if you do this fast or harsh, you could tear and tug your delicate skin.
