Make Your Own Makeup Remover!

Oh, first, let’s talk a bit about the ingredients and why they are used in this recipe. Witch hazel is super gentle on skin, acts as an astringent, kills bacteria breeding on the skin, and prevents cellular damage. When choosing a witch hazel, look for one without alcohol so you don’t dry your skin. Jojoba oil works to remove bacteria, stimulates collagen production, and is just great for your skin overall. Rich in vitamin E, this recipe also calls for olive oil. Olive oil works amazing to remove mascara and eye liner while calming any skin irritations you may have.

Homemade Makeup Remover
4 tablespoons witch hazel
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of pure jojoba oil
3 tablespoons water
In a glass jar, add all of the ingredients and stir or shake until blended well.
Prior to each use, make sure you shake the jar really well so that the oils mix with the water and witch hazel. Using a cotton ball or cotton pad, gently remove makeup.
